Abingdon House School Receives Highly Commended Award for SEN School of the Year!

On Thursday 21st March, Abingdon House School in Marylebone, a school for children with unique learning profiles, received the Highly Commended Award for SEN School of the Year!

The recognition presented by Shine a Light was proudly accepted by Abingdon House School Headteacher, Ms Moran, and Head of Mental Health & Wellbeing, Ms Rachel Cullen, at a glittering ceremony in London and celebrates excellence in speech, language and communication provision.

The award ceremony was hosted by actress and comedienne, Sally Phillips, and sponsored by The Communication Trust and Pearson. Performing at the event was Britain’s Got Talent winner, Lee Ridley, AKA the Lost Voice Guy.


Ms Moran commented, 'I am overjoyed that Abingdon House School has received this prestigious recognition and is a reflection of the outstanding work that the school does to support students with speech, language and communication needs'.
