Abingdon House Parents Association – raffle news.

You may remember that, back in May of this year, the Parents’ Association held its Annual Cocktail Party.

The evening was centered around a raffle dedicated to building a new Library and Online Reading Scheme that would benefit all the pupils at Abingdon House.  After weeks of preparation, we had several very happy winners and some new bookshelves in place…

We are now finally able to announce the total raised through ticket sales, and to share the exciting news that Mr. Aatif Hassan, the Chairman of Cavendish Education, has generously agreed to match fund the amount.

Ticket sales raised a spectacular £2,864 and, with the match funding, we have an incredible £5,728 to spend on new books, an online reading scheme and dedicated quiet space.
