A unique family of specialist independent schools across London

Education is not a one-size-fits-all model. Here at Abingdon House School, our mission is to equip every student, regardless of learning style, with the academic and personal skills they need to fulfil their potential and achieve independence beyond our doors.

Abingdon House School provides a mainstream-style education with a specialist approach, in a supportive and collaborative school community. We remove the barriers and limitations that are all too often placed on students, particularly those with special educational needs, while fostering an enjoyment of learning where creativity and individualism are celebrated. Our passionate and dedicated team of educators, therapists and support staff provide an integrated, whole-school multidisciplinary approach to meeting the needs of students with unique learning profiles based on understanding each child’s individual needs, nurturing and enriching their academic and social development and caring for their well being.

Spanning three campuses, we warmly welcome neurodiverse students aged 7 to 19 seeking specialised support for autism, specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia, dyspraxia (DCD), and dyscalculia, ADHD, speech-language and communication needs, and other associated needs. Our core belief is in providing an aspirational, nurturing, and inspiring learning environment where high-quality teaching is tailored to suit each student’s optimal learning style. Our ultimate aim is to empower our students with the confidence, skills, knowledge, and self-belief required to emerge as happy, capable, and globally aware citizens.
