  • Contract type: Full-time (term time only)

  • Based: Marylebone and South Kensington

About the role

This role would suit an enthusiastic and aspirational teacher who is either primary or secondary trained. While previous SEN experience or training is desirable, excellent teaching skills, interpersonal qualities, and a genuine desire to put the child at the centre of their learning is of equal importance.

You will be responsible for the planning and delivering of lessons in a range of subjects, and supporting students’ development of academic, personal and life skills. Therapy is integrated across the curriculum, and you’ll be working as a multidisciplinary team to adapt the curriculum and classroom experience to suit students’ individual needs. Classes have around ten pupils each and include mixed ages – generally across two year groups. Students are studying the national curriculum across Key Stages 1-4, and are working towards functional skills, BTEC qualifications, and GCSEs. All teachers teach across all subject areas for the Key Stage 1-3 curriculum, with subject specialist teachers for the Key Stage 4 curriculum.
