We’re pleased to announce that Abingdon House School has been accredited with the Leaders in Safeguarding Gold Award.
Leaders in Safeguarding are approved safeguarding auditors who visit organisations to assess the effectiveness of safeguarding arrangements. This involves close examination of recruitment, training, policies and procedures as well as observation of day-to-day practice; and is assessed by an additional Security and Validation Panel.
In a few cases, where there is very strong evidence of outstanding safeguarding practice, the Scrutiny and Validation Panel use their discretion to issue the Leaders in Safeguarding Gold Award. It is an honour to have our commitment to safeguarding and child wellbeing recognised with this award.
