Mental Health and Wellbeing Update
Welcome back to the weekly wellbeing update!
Below you will find the latest updates and tips on wellbeing and mental health. If you have any questions about wellbeing or mental health please do not hesitate to get in touch with Mrs Cullen or Mrs Carella.
At the start of what will hopefully be a more normal school term at AHSC I wanted to re-share with you the ways that we support student wellbeing and mental health at school.
At AHSC we have broken down wellbeing and mental health support into four strands:

These are some of the interventions and activities that we offer to pupils:
Wellbeing mornings - activities include yoga, mindfulness, mindful colouring, walking, tea and chat, teacher stories
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
Drawing and Talking
Solution Focused Brief Therapy
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
Talk time with a trusted adult
Zones of Regulation®
Girls group
Wellbeing room at break time
Multi-family group
Sensory room
Therapy gym
Calming school environment
Peer support
Rookie!
These are the things that we encourage pupils to do when they are feeling sad or worried:

If you have any questions about the wellbeing or mental health support at AHS please get in touch.
Have a lovely weekend,
Mrs Cullen
